Finding Yourself

On December 13, 2017, I gave birth to my daughter.

Something that was supposed to be simple ended with a last minute c-section and a prolonged stay in the hospital for me and my daughter.

Those who have kids understand the difficulties that can occur post-partum.

I went through a moment of post-partum depression, anxiety, and I had the hardest time pulling myself out of this hole so I had to step back from this site and everything else to take care of myself and my daughter.

In due time, I remembered why I started all of this– my stories and my articles are a manifestation of me— and I have so much more to tell.
